- dreadnought style, spruce top, rosewood back and sides, round soundhole, scalloped bracing, multi-ply top and back binding, mahogany neck, 14/20-fret bound ebony fingerboard with slotted diamond inlays, bound snakehead-shaped headstock with G shield logo inlay, three-per-side tuners, available in Natural finish, 15.75 in. body width, 25.625 in. scale, designed by George Gruhn, mfg. 1984-1990.
In 1987, this model was renamed the D-60.
