- dreadnought style, solid spruce or mahogany top, arched laminated mahogany or flat solid mahogany back, solid mahogany sides, round soundhole, black bound body, three-stripe rosette, mahogany neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, three-per-side chrome tuners, rosewood bridge with white black dot pins, tortoiseshell pickguard, available in Antique Burst, Black (1980-1999), Cherry Red (1968-1986), Mahogany, Natural or Woodgrain Red high gloss finish, 15.75 in. body width, 25.5 in. scale, mfg. 1968-2000.
In 1969, a larger pickguard and a headstock with no veneer and a silkscreen logo were introduced. In 1976, a spruce top with either an arched laminated or solid flat mahogany back became optional, black top and back binding was introduced, and Shaded Mahogany and Cherry finishes were standard. In 1980, Black or Sunburst finish became optional. In 1987, listed colors were Black, Mahogany, Natural, Sunburst, and Woodgrain Red.
