- single round cutaway mahogany body based on the 1957 Duo Jet model, bound arched maple top, mahogany neck, 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl humpblock inlay, bound blackface peghead with pearl logo inlay, three-per-side tuners, ebony-based chrome rocking bar bridge, G cutout tailpiece, raised silver plexi pickguard with logo, two Dynasonic single coil pickups, control layout #1, chrome hardware, available in Black finish, 13.25 in. body width, 1.75 in. body depth, 24.6 in. scale, mfg. 1994-2009.
In 2007, this model was renamed the Duo Jet Model G6128DS and 1957 was dropped from it even though it is still based on the original 1957 Duo Jet.
