Gold Tone GM-70/GM-70+ Mandolin Description
- two-point F-style body, carved solid spruce top, solid maple back and sides, two f-holes, abalone body binding, set maple neck, 18-fret scooped bound ebony fingerboard with MOP design inlays, bound snakehead headstock with black overlay, Gold Tone logo, and design inlay, four-per-side tuners with pearl buttons, adj. ebony bridge, engraved tailpiece, raised black pickguard, optional LR Baggs pickup, gold hardware, available in Sunburst finish, 13 11/16 in. scale, 1.125 in. nut width, current mfg.
The GM-70 was upgraded to the GM-70+ with changes including a radiused fingerboard, top-gear style tuners, and a cast brass tailpiece.
