- square-shouldered dreadnought-style body, spruce top, figured maple back and sides, round soundhole with three ring rosette, three-stripe bound body, 14/20-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearl parallelogram inlay, black headstock overlay with pearl plant/logo inlay, three-per-side nickel tuners, tortoiseshell pickguard with dove inlay, enlarged rosewood bridge with black pearl dot pins, pearl dove inlay on bridge wings, available in Natural or Cherry Sunburst finish, mfg. 1962-1996.
In 1969, adjustable bridge replaced original part/design. In 1970, non-adjustable bridge replaced previous part/design. In 1975, ebony fingerboard replaced original part/design. In 1996, the ´60s Dove model superseded the original Dove model (see listing below).
