- slope-shouldered dreadnought-style body based on a 1950s/1960s J-160E, laminated Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, traditional ladder bracing, round soundhole with traditional single ring rosette, multi-ply top binding, single-ply back binding, one-piece mahogany neck with round profile and compound dovetail joint, 15/20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with MOP trapezoid inlays and John Lennon's birthdate (October 9, 1940) on the 12th fret, traditional J-160E headstock with black overlay, MOP Gibson logo, and John Lennon script signature, three-per-side vintage nickel Kluson-Gotoh tuners with tulip buttons, traditional belly up rosewood bridge with MOP dots and white pins, tortoise J-160E pickguard, single P-90 single coil pickup, two amber knobs (v, tone), available in Vintage Sunburst finish, 1.725 in. nut width, 24.75 in. scale, hardshell case and certificate of authenticity included, limited edition run of 500 instruments, mfg. 2010-11.
