- double cutaway (SG-style) mahogany body carved to simulate the split rear window of a ´63 Stingray Corvette (with simulated chrome windows), set-in mahogany neck, 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl "StingRay" inlay, wraparound bridge, blackface peghead with pearl checkered flag/logo inlay, 3-per-side tuners, chrome hardware, Corvette-style valve cover engraving chrome plated pickup, volume/tone controls, engraved serial number plate, available in Tuxedo Black, Sebring Silver, or Riverside Red finish, mfg. 1996 only.
This model comes with a leather case, Certificate of Authenticity, and framed print of the original concept drawing of the Gibson 1963 Corvette Guitar. The 1963 Corvette Guitar was a Gibson Custom Shop model, and was produced in a limited edition of 150 instruments.
