- similar to the L-1000, except in five-string configuration, with an alder body, black pickguard, 4/1-per-side-tuners, two knobs (v, tone), G&L Z coil pickup, and passive electronics, mfg. 1988-1993.
This model may have an ash, maple, or poplar body; and a maple or rosewood fingerboard.
