- offset double cutaway alder body slightly similar to a Strat, bolt-on maple neck, 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlays or rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, Strat-style headstock with "Lead I" logo and six-on-one-side tuners, STB, black or white pickguard, single exposed humbucker pickup, two knobs (v, tone), one coil tap switch and one series/parallel switch, chrome hardware, available in Black, Cherry Sunburst, Sienna Sunburst, or White finish, mfg. 1979-1982.
