FENDER ERIC CLAPTON STRATOCASTER (U.S. MFG. NO. 010/011-7602)

- offset double cutaway alder body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlay, vintage-style vibrato, Eric Clapton's signature on headstock, six-on-one-side tuners, three single coil Vintage Noiseless pickups (Lace Sensors prior 2001), active electronics, chrome hardware, available in Black, Candy Green (disc. 2009), Olympic White, Pewter, or Torino Red finish, case included, mfg. 1987-present.

In 2002, this model was revised by replacing the Lace Sensor pickups with new Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups, a "V" neck, and new active mid-boost and TBX circuits. The Eric Clapton Stratocaster was the first signature model by Fender. It was loosely based on Blackie - Clapton's main guitar during much of the 1970s and 1980s.
