- offset double cutaway alder or ash body, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret maple or rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay (logo block inlay at 12th fret), Original Floyd Rose tremolo, reverse pointy blackface peghead with screened logo, 6-on-the-other-side tuners, black hardware, 2 ESP LH-200 humbucker pickups, volume control, 3-position switch, available in Black, Brite Red, or Snow White finish, mfg. 1989-1994, 1996-2000.
Earlier versions of this model may have 22-fret maple or rosewood fingerboards with offset dot inlays; and ESP single coil/humbucker pickups. In 1990, Candy Apple Red finish was introduced; Brite Red finish was disc. In 1996, Candy Apple Red and Snow White finishes were disc; Gunmetal Blue, Honey Sunburst, Metallic Purple, and Pearl White finishes were introduced. In 1997, Metallic Purple finish was disc; Metallic Gold finish was introduced. In 1998, ash body was disc; Metallic Purple finish was reintroduced.
