- Spanish style, 14 3/4 in. wide, laminated maple body, flat back, single bound body, extended single bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, "horseshoe" pickup, two knobs, jack on top of guitar, Electar logo on peghead with point at top, Sunburst top with brown back/sides, mfg. 1935-39.
Some early models may have only had a single knob. In 1937, a rhythm control was added for a total of three knobs. In late 1937, an oblong pickup with poles was introduced and the next extension was raised off of the top. A tenor and plectrum version were also available.
