BOURGEOIS OMC Description
- orchestra model single cutaway body style, solid Englemann spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, tortoiseshell body binding with black/white/black purfling, multi-color herringbone backstrip, abalone or wood rosette, square and diamonds fingerboard inlays, square Indian rosewood headstock overlay with gold tuners, ivoroid heel cap and butt wedge, ebony pyramid bridge, tortoiseshell pickguard, mfg. 1993-present.
In the mid-1990s, Bourgeois offered packages on several models. The OMC featured the OMC-140 (Mahogany back and sides) and the OMC-240 (rosewood back and sides with a pyramid/belly bridge). In 2006, new specs were introduced on the OMC including a wood rosette, short square fingerboard inlays, and no pickguard.
