- offset double cutaway body, pointed forward horns, centered large "V" cutaway in bottom bout, alder (or poplar) body wings, through-body maple neck, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl diamond inlay, fixed bridge, blackface peghead with logo, six-on-one-side tuners, black hardware, two Seymour Duncan custom humbucker pickups, three knobs (two v, tone), three-way selector, available in Black, Purple, Red, or White finish, 24.625 in.scale, mfg. 1981-1999.
In 1998, Floyd Rose 2 tremolo replaced the fixed bridge; Blood Red and Blue finishes were introduced; Purple and Red finishes were disc.
