- slightly offset double cutaway solid alder body, bolt-on maple neck, multiple layer bound body, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid rectangular position markers, tune-o-matic bridge, chrome hardware, blackface peghead with logo inlay, three-per-side tuners, Exclusive-style headstock, two humbucker pickups, three controls (two v, tone), three-way selector, available in Trans. Blue, Trans. Natural, Trans. Purple, or Trans. Orange finish, 24.75 in. scale, mfg. 1996-2004.

In 1998, Black, Trans. Red, and White finishes were introduced; Trans. Natural, Trans. Purple, and Trans. Orange finishes were discontinued. In 1999, Black, White and Trans. Red finishes were discontinued. In 2000, Trans. Black was introduced.
