- offset double cutaway alder body, flamed maple carved top, bolt-on maple neck, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, BST-4 bass bridge, screened peghead logo, 4-on-a-side tuners, black hardware, 2 single coil SJS-04 pickups, piezo bridge pickups, magnetic pickup volume/magnetic pickup balance stacked controls, synth volume/magnetic pickup active bass EQ stacked controls, piezo pickup volume/magnetic pickup active treble EQ stacked controls, magnetic/piezo selector switch, S1/S2 controller switches. 1/4 in. phono output and 13-pin DIN connector jack mounted on side, available in Tobacco Sunburst finish only, disc. 1994.
Headstock may read "Aria Custom Shop". This model was designed to interface with a Roland GI-10 MIDI device. Aria also offered AVB MID 5 (5-string model), and the AVB MID 6 (6-string model).
