AMPEG AC-12 Description
- 20W, 1-12 in. speaker, accordion combo, five-tube chassis, preamp: 1 X 12AX7, 1 X 6U10, 1 X 12DW7, power: 2 X 7591A, solid-state rectifier, single channel, reverb, tremolo, silver front control panel, two inputs, six black knobs (v, b, t, reverb, s, i), black covering, blue/gray grille, mfg. 1970 only.
The AC-12 was a new Ampeg specifically designed for Accoridans that did not sell well. After one year, Ampeg took the circuit from this and developed it into a new guitar amplifier that replaced the Rocket II. This was the last amp that Ampeg made especially for accordians.
