Lyon & Healy

Lyon & Healy began as a music store in 1864 and was named after its founders George Washburn Lyon and Patrick Joseph Healy. Lyon & Healy expanded throughout the 1800s from a retail outlet to an instrument producer and distributor. By the 1900s, Lyon & Healy were building instruments under several different trademarks including their own. Lyon & Healy mandolins were mainly available in three styles: Style A, Style B, and Style C, along with a Style A mandocello.
