ELECTRIC HYBRID AMPLIFIERS: VALVETRONIX SERIES

The Valvetronix series was debuted at the Winter NAMM 2002, as a digital modeling amp. With the digital features and the power of Vox amps a person is able to create an unlimited number of possibilities in sound. Smaller models were introduced in 2004, with the AD15VT, AD30VT, and at the Summer NAMM 2004 show, the AD50VT. In 2008, Vox introduced a variation of each Valvetronix amp that featured 11 heavier new amp models. These amps were labeled as the XL Series that stood for Extreme Lead. In 2009, Vox discontinued all their current models and replaced them with similar new models that incorporated 22 amp models, eliminating the need for two separate amps with 11 models each. These models were simply called "VT" models. In 2011, Vox introduced their next series of Valvetronix amps with the VT Plus Series. These amps feature 33 amp models along with 99 user presets.
