ELECTRIC TUBE AMPLIFIERS: JTM 45 SERIES

This was Marshall's first line of amplifiers released in 1962. Since this was Marshall's first attempt at mass producing amplifiers, the cosmetics changed quite frequently. When parts would run out, they would just go out and buy whatever was handy. For a series of amps there are many different looking models that bear the same name. The electronics didn't change much except for small tweaks and occasional tube differences. JTM stands for Jim and Terry Marshall; Terry is Jim's son. The JTM-45 combo amps are known as the Bluesbreaker models and are listed under the Bluesbreaker Series.
