ELECTRIC TUBE AMPLIFIERS: JCM 2000 SERIES (1998-2008)

Marshall introduced the first JCM 2000 Series amps at the 1998 Winter NAMM Show. The Dual Super Lead (DSL) heads were based on the previous generation of the JCM 900 Hi Gain Dual Reverb models with more modern features including a deep button. Combo variations of the DSL followed in the summer of 1998, as well as the much anticipated Triple Super Lead (TSL) heads that featured three fully independent channels and a wide array of useful features. 60W variations of the TSL appeared in 1999. In 2006, Marshall introduced a Silver Limited Edition of the TSL100 Head and 1960A/B speaker cabinet that featured silver vinyl and a large check cloth grille with a black script Marshall logo. The JCM-2000 Series was produced for a majority of the 2000s when it was replaced by the JVM Series in 2008. Marshall stopped offering their JCM 2000 models in 2008, but the JCM 2000 Dual Super Lead 100W Head was still being sold by several retailers as either a half- or full-stack.
