ELECTRIC TUBE AMPLIFIERS: 35TH ANNIVERSARY SERIES

For their 35th Anniversary as a company, Marshall released the 35th Anniversary Series in 1997. The 35th Anniversary Series featured three models with a 50W head (Model 1987WSP), 100W head (Model 1959WSP, and a Bluesbreaker 2-12 Combo (Model 1962WSP). A 4-12 angled-front speaker cabinet (Model 1960AXWSP) with 4-12 in. 25W Celestion Greenback speakers and a "100" logo in the upper left-hand corner was also offered, but it was only sold with one of the two heads as a set. All models were produced with a white vinyl covering, gold piping, a gold script Marshall logo, and salt and pepper weave cloth grille. 250 of each model and 500 speaker cabinets were produced (250 speaker cabinets for each head). Unlike the 30th Anniversary Series, the 35th Anniversary amplifiers were only produced for one year in 1997.
