ELECTRIC SS AMPLIFIERS: GX SERIES

This series of amps have been very popular for Crate as far as solid-state goes. Along with the combos there are a couple of head-units that they make. There are also speaker cabinets to match up with these. There are two full size cabs the GX412S and the GX412R, which each include 4-12 in. Crate speakers and weigh 74 lbs. These each retail for $659.99. There are two compact sized cabs (to match the compact 1200H head) which are the GX412XS and the GX 412XR, which have 4-12 in. speakers, and weigh 54 lbs. These retail for $469.99. The only difference between the two in each set is one is slanted (S) and the other is straight (R). Note that this series has changed cosmetically from year to year but the electronics are generally the same.
