ELECTRIC SS AMPLIFIERS: CR SERIES (WOOD CABINETS)

These amps were named crates because they look like wooden crates. All early Crate amplifiers were built in either a Ponderosa pine or oak wood cabinet, which gives these models a unique look. There are other CR models that are missing here, but we do not have any information on them. It is a safe assumption that these amplifiers are generally priced between $50 and $150 depending upon the size and condition. Any further information on CR model amplifiers can be submitted directly to Blue Book Publications.
