- 60W, 4-12 in. speakers, guitar piggyback unit with a ported cabinet containing Eminence or CTS speakers, nine-tube chassis: preamp: 3 X 12AX7, 1 X 6K11, 1 X 12DW7, 1 X 6CG7, 1 X 12AU7, power: 2 X 7027A, solid-state rectifier, two channels, reverb, front silver control panel, two inputs, six silver knobs (v1, v2, t, m, b, r), black covering, blue/gray grille, mfg. 1971-1980.
This model was derived from the VT-22 to put out smaller wattages but to retain the piggyback design and Altec 417-8C speakers were optional.

- 55W, 4-12 in. speakers, guitar piggyback configuration, six-tube chassis: preamp: 2 X 12AX7, 1 X 7199, power: 2 X 7027A, rectifier: 5AR4, two channels, front control panel, six silver knobs (Ch 1: v, b, t, Ch 2: v, b, t), ultra high and lo switches, black covering, blue/gray grille, mfg. 1970-71.
This amp was derived from the circuit of the B-25 made a year earlier. The only two changes were the cabinet was changed to 4-12 in. and the negative feedback loop was removed.

CTS or Eminence speakers, guitar piggyback unit with a sealed cabinet, 11-tube chassis: preamp: 2 X 12AX7, 1 X 6K11, 1 X 12DW7, 1 X 6AN8, 1 X 6CG7, power: 4 X 7027A, solid-state rectifier, two channels, front silver control panel, two inputs, six silver knobs (Ch. 1 v, Ch. 2 v, t, m, b, r), sensitivity switches for each channel, ultra hi switch, three-position mid-range freq. switch, standby switch, polarity switch, power switch, black covering, blue/gray grille, mfg. 1970-1980.
This model is similar to the VT-22 except in piggyback configuration with 4-12 in. CTS or Eminece ceramic magnet speakers in a cabinet that is totally sealed, and Altec 417-8C speakers were optional.

The V-4B had Altec 421A speakers initially and later were switched to Electo-Voice 200W speakers.

The V-4B Reissue utilizes the same circuitry as the original V-4B produced in the 1970s.

This amp was very similar to the SVT, but designed for guitars and keyboards instead of bass. The speaker cabinet was divided up into three compartments and each one was sealed from the others.

This model was derived from the V-4 to put out smaller wattages but to retain the piggyback design, and the VT-40 had optional Altec 425-8A speakers. The early VT-40 had a top mounted control panel and a vertical chassis.
