ELECTRIC TUBE AMPS: OVERVIEW

Our greatest attempt has been made to try to break up the Tube amps into sensible categories. Ampeg really didn´t have model series until the early '60s when the Universal series was released. We have broken up the early models into time periods, as are miscellaneous amps in the sixties and amps throughtout the seventies and eighties. There are series of amplifiers that begin to show up in the 1960s, and most of these are pretty self-explanatory. If a certain amp isn´t listed under a series, check the misc. models for that time period. Every attempt has been made to include every Ampeg amp in an easy format.
