ELECTRIC TUBE AMPS: GOLDEN-GLO SERIES

Ampeg introduced the Golden-Glo Series in 1967 and featured revamped designs of some of their most popular amps with brand new cosmetics. These amps were covered in black covering with a brown/copper straw-like grille stuck out about three inches from the rest of the amp. On top of this protusion was the copper-plated control panel with controls pointing toward the sky. The top of the amp rises another six inches from the control panel, and is finished in wood-grain with the Ampeg logo.
