ELECTRIC: TRACER SERIES

The original Tracer model was introduced in 1988. Subsequent models were styled to compete with Charvel/Jackson, Ibanez, and Kramer instruments in the Hard Rock music genre.

TRACER I

- offset double cutaway poplar body, bolt-on bi-laminated maple neck, 22-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlay, 25.5 in. scale, Power Bend standard tremolo, graphlon nut, 6-on-a-side tuners, chrome hardware, 1 humbucker pickup, volume/tone control, available in Black, Red, or White finish, mfg. 1988-1994.
Tracer (Second Version): In 1991, after numerous Tracer models had been offered, the original Tracer was turbo charged from its basic model design with the addition of 2 single coil pickups, 24-fret maple fingerboard, a new 24 3/4 in. scale, and a five way pickup selector switch (The Second Version of the Tracer was similar to the Tracer Custom without the Kahler locking tremolo).

Tracer II '89

- similar to the Tracer II, with the 24.75 in. scale, yet shares all the same hardware and configuration of the previous Tracer II, mfg. 1989-1991.
The only verifiable difference is the scale length. Whip out the measuring stick. Whip it out!

- similar to the Tracer Custom, except has shorter 24.75 in. scale length, also similar to the revised Tracer II, except the Custom '89 has a locking Kahler tremolo and the Tracer doesn't, mfg. 1989-1991.
