- offset double cutaway hardwood body, bolt-on maple neck, 30.25" scale, 20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, "Mosrite of California/The Ventures" headstock logo, fixed bridge, chrome hardware, white pickguard, 2 black single coil pickups, volume/tone controls, 3-position switch, available in Metallic Blue, Metallic Red, or Sunburst finish, mfg. 1963-66.
Ventures Mark Series models do not have a bound body.

- offset double cutaway solid body, bolt-on maple neck, 30.25 in. scale, 20-fret bound Indian rosewood fingerboard, adjustable bridge, chrome hardware, white pickguard, 2 black pickups, volume/tone controls, 3-position switch, available in Cherryburst, Deep Black, Metallic Blue, Metallic Red, Pearl White, Transparent Cherry Red, or Transparent Sunburst finish, mfg. 1967-69.
While similar to the 1963-1969 Ventures Bass model, the Mark X Bass does not have a "The Ventures Model" logo on the headstock.
