- single cutaway body, set-in neck, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, combination bridge/tailpiece, 3-per-side tuners, chrome hardware, one pickup, volume/tone controls, available in Sunburst finish, mfg. 1960-69, 1977-79.
In 1963, the body style changed to an offset double cutaway design. In 1964, 6-on-a-side headstock was introduced and a Maestro vibrato became optional. In 1965, vibrato became standard.
