The Cort TRG model was designed in conjunction with luthier/designer Jim Triggs. Triggs has been building handcrafted instruments in his Nashville, TN shop and now Kansas Shop, since the mid-1970s.

- single sharp cutaway semi-hollow bound body, maple top, maple back/sides, 2 cat´s-eye f-holes, set-in maple neck, 24.75 in. scale, 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard, bound headstock with Triggs signature imprint inlay, gold hardware, 3-per-side tuners with white buttons, rosewood bridge/trapeze tailpiece, Mightymite humbucker pickup, volume/tone controls, available in Robin´s Egg Blue or See-Through Orange finish, mfg. 1998-2004.

- similar to TRG-1 except in a two pickup configuration, maple top, sides and back, maple neck, two Mightymite covered vintage alnico humbucker pickups, two cat's eye f-holes, "C" vibrato bridge, gold hardware, three-per-side tuners, available in Black or Trans. Orange finish, 24.75 in. scale, mfg. 2000-07.
Was also available as the TRG-2A at no additional charge.
