In 2006, the Coastline Series replaced the S Series. There were not a lot of physical changes except for a new polished lacquer finish and new model number designations.

S 6 ORIGINAL

- dreadnought style bound body, solid cedar top, black pickguard, round soundhole, multi stripe rosette, wild cherry back/sides, mahogany neck, 14/21-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, rosewood bridge with white black dot pins, blackface peghead with screened logo, three-per-side chrome tuners, available in Natural finish (10257/22229/29396), mfg. 1993-present.

S 6 Original Left-Handed

- similar to the S 6, except in left-handed configuration (22250/29402), current mfg.

S 6 Slim

- similar to the S 6 Original, except has a slim neck with a 1.72 in. nut width, available in Natural finish (28726), mfg. 2006-present.

S6+ CEDAR

- similar to S6, except has a solid Cedar top, "+ version" uses a special staining process that results in a rich Violin Brown finish (10318), disc. 2002.
