- spruce top, curly maple back/sides, tortoiseshell body binding, 12/19-fret fingerboard, available in Natural finish, 16.5 in. body width, mfg. 1931-1941.
This model was originally introduced as an f-hole guitar, Hawaiian (or Spanish) style. In 1936, the Madrid was re-designated as a jumbo size, round soundhole, Hawaiian style only.
