View Details
- similar to the Coronado II, except has a dye-injected beechwood body, available in Wildwood finishes available in finishes that were marked on the pickguard from I to IV, mfg. 1967-1970.
The Wildwood finish was the result of a seven-year process in Germany where dye was injected into growing beech trees. After the trees were harvested, veneers were cut and laminated to the guitar tops. Pickguard numbers (I-VI) refer to the dye color (primary color of green, blue, and gold) and the applied finish.
