The St. George trademark was a brand name used by U.S. importer Buegeleisen & Jacobson of New York, New York. It has also been reported that amplifiers bearing the St. George label were imported by the WMI Corporation of Los Angeles, CA. St. George produced tube amplifiers and it is possible that some solid-state models exist. Generally, they are of low to mid-quality and are priced between $200 and $400 depending upon condition/configuration (source: Michael Wright, Guitar Stories, Volume One).
Amplifiers previously produced in Japan during the mid- to late 1960s.
