Simms-Watts started producing amplifiers in the late 1960s that are very similar to Marshall and Hiwatt amps of that era. A large "simms-watts" logo in all lower case identifies these amps easily. They produced both guitar and PA head amplifiers with matching speaker cabinets. The 100W guitar head featured two channels, but had separate volume and tone controls for each channel. They went out of business circa 1976 and their amps are pretty rare today. Any further information can be submitted directly to Blue Book Publications.
Amplifiers previously produced in London, England between the late 1960s and mid-1970s.
