The Rex brand name has appeared on several amplifiers as well as electric guitars (Rex seems to be a very popular name for Japanese companies). The most notable Rex amps were budget brands that were probably built by some of the large amp suppliers including Harmony, Kay, and Valco. In the 1950s, Gretsch used Rex as their student/value model brand. Any further information on Rex amps can be submitted directly to Blue Book Publications.
Amplifiers previously produced circa 1930s-1960s. Distributed by Gretsch.
