NAYLOR ENGINEERING
Joe Naylor and Kyle Kurtz co-founded Naylor Engineering in the early 1990s. The company first produced J.F. Naylor speakers and in 1994 they started to produce amplifiers. Joe left the company to start Reverend Guitars in 1997 and left Kurtz with the share of the company. In 1999, David King purchased Naylor Engineering and moved the operation to Dallas, TX. From 1999 to 2002, King set up new manufacturing facilities and worked on producing the amplifiers to the original Naylor specifications. The first new Naylor amp was built in July, 2002 and Joe Naylor played it at the 2002 Arlington Guitar Show. The New Naylor amps are built the same way as they were originally because King received all the original engineering specifications, working models, component layout boards, assembly jigs, full line of cabinets, lots of component inventory, and other information.
