Motion Sound was established in 1994 by three people, one an electronics engineer and musician, one a mechanical engineer and the other a financial guy. John H. Fischer is the current president. At the 1995 NAMM show, they introduced the Pro-3 a rotating hybrid amplifier. This unit could produce the large sound of big rotating systems (such as a Leslie) in a much smaller model. Later on they started making products for guitars. In 2001, John Johnson joined the team to help market. Currently Motion Sound has these rotating horn units for all types of applications. Amplifiers currently produced in Salt Lake City, UT, since 1994.
