McIntosh amplifiers are very popular among hi-fi enthusiasts and in the recording studio. McIntosh amps featured unique transformers that they labeled Unity Coupled, which gave the amps high accuracy and durability. McIntosh amps typically came in head-unit configurations. Mono amps were available in from 30W to 75W and stereo amps were available from 30W per side to 75W per side.
