KMD

KMD was distributed in the U.S. by Kaman Music and this name was used as their in-house amp company. KMD amplifiers can be identified by their round black metal grille covers with "kmd" in lower letters in the top center. Most amps appear to have been built in England, and a full range of amplifiers was available from a small solid-state combo model to large tube amps. Head units, combos, and speaker cabinets were all available. Endorsers included Al Di Meola and Ritchie Sambora.
