Jason C. Arthur founded JCA Circuits in 1995, and he built his GR 1.6 amplifier on a custom basis one at a time. The GR 1.6 has a completely original design that can produce many different tones, including many classic tones as well. The GR 1.6 is so versatile that Arthur states that his amp could replace a small fleet of medium powered combo amplifiers. All amps were built as they are ordered and were customized by the customer, but Arthur offered two "standard" models that have a combination of popular features.
