HENRIKSEN AMPLIFIERS

Peter Henriksen started Henriksen Data Systems, Inc. in 1980 as a telecommunication and data processing equipment manufacturer, but in 2006, they began building guitar amplifiers full-time. Henriksen's JazzAmp is specifically voiced to be used with archtop jazz guitars, and are advertised as having pure and true reproduction of the guitar and guitarist's tone. The JazzAmp is available as a head-unit and several combos; prices start at $699 for the head and $899 for the combo. Henriksen also produces a BluesAmp that utilizes the same chassis as the JazzAmp but has a Ragin Cajun speaker with a tweeter suited for blues playing. Speaker cabinets are also available.
