Bud Ross, who founded Kustom Electronics in 1965, started another amplifier company called Edgerton in the 1990s. Egerton designed and produced guitar and P.A. amplifiers, and one of their most popular models were octagon shaped amps that sounded a lot like Kustoms of the 1960s and 1970s. The son of the owner went on to form KrossRoads, which were good tuck and roll versions of Kustom amps for the 1990s. It is unknown what happened to the Edgerton brand, but by the late 1990s and early 2000s, they were no longer being produced. Any further information on Edgerton amplifiers can be submitted directly to Blue Book Publications.
Amplifiers previously produced in Kansas during the mid-1990s.
