The Dickerson brand was developed by the Dickerson brothers in 1937 and they originally produced electric lap steels with matching amplifiers. These amps were very similar to Oahu models of the same era, and there is speculation as to whether they were built by the same company. In 1947, Dickerson was sold to what would become Magnatone. Dickerson amps are typically low-wattage all-tube amps with small speakers, and limited controls. Any further information can be submitted directly to Blue Book Publications.
Amplifiers previously produced in the U.S. during the late 1930s and early 1940s.
