For a complete history of Charvel and its guitar operations, please refer to the Blue Book of Electric Guitars. In the early 1990s, Charvel introduced a line of student amplifiers known as the CH series. These amplifiers lasted through the mid-1990s, but it appears they were discontinued before all guitar production stopped in 1999.
Jackson purchased the rights to Charvel and by 2002 were producing guitars once again, but no amplifiers. In the fall of 2002, Fender (FMIC) purchased the Jackson/Charvel corporation. Currently Jackson/Charvel still produces guitars in their manufacturing facilities and these are distributed by FMIC.
Amplifiers previously produced in South Korea during the early to mid-1990s. Distributed by Charvel.
