Fender introduced the trademark Brand X on a line of budget, entry-level solid-state amps in 2004. They featured a unique look with black covering, black metal grilles, brushed aluminum control panels, metal knobs, a headphone output, and a bright red pilot light. Fender also offered a limited warranty on these amps. Fender produced Brand X amplifiers through the mid- to late 2000s.
Amplifiers previously produced between 2004 and 2008. Distributed by FMIC (Fender Musical Instrument Corporation) in Scottsdale, AZ.
