Robert Hudson opened a music shop in the 1980s and guitarists would come into his shop requesting him to turn their amplifier into something that it could never be stock from the factory. Therefore, he began building his own amplifiers under the name of Blues Pearl that began in the late 1980s. Most of his designs are based on vintage Fender amps from the 1950s and 1960s. Unfortunately, a serious illness forced Hudson to retire from Blues Pearl in the early 2000s and they halted production of amplifiers for much of the 2000s decade. In the late 2000s, Hudson was approached by another company who was interested in producing Blues Pearl amplifiers again. Working with Hudson, they developed a new line of Blues Pearl amplifiers and effects pedals. For more information, visit Blues Pearl's website or contact them directly.
Amplifiers previously produced in Kodak, TN from 2009 to early-2010s and in Soddy Daisy, TN between the late 1980s and early 2000s.
