SOVTEK

Mike Matthews started the New Sensor Corporation in Russia in the late 1980s. The first brand of tubes he produced were under the Sovtek brand. In circa 1992, Sovtek released a line of tube guitar amplifiers that were produced through the late 1990s. Sovtek continues to produce tubes, but they do not produce any amplifiers.
