Omega were Japanese-built amplifiers that were modeled very closely to Ampeg models. One example is an Omega model that is almost identical to the Ampeg R-12, with the only difference being that Japanese components were used to build it. These amps were covered in very cheap papery silver-gray material, and very inferior to real Ampeg models. There are other Omega models out there other than this R-12 copy, and if anybody has any information they can submit it directly to Blue Book Publications.
